The Story of Verdana Candles

Eco-friendly, inspired by nature

Our handmade candles are our pride and joy. Our small and dedicated team craft hand-poured candles in our  studio, using ethically sourced and cruelty-free wax and fragrances. Our eco-friendly candles are made with a growing range of fragrances, each inspired by nature to calm, soothe, and delight your senses.

We first began experimenting with waxes and fragrances in my kitchen to try and create an environmentally friendly candle that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, The Verdana Candle Company offers a range of beautifully fragranced wax candles, handmade in small batches in our studio.

 Our candles are clean burning, with no tunnelling or leftover wax. Our container candles are all frequently tested to ensure our high standards are maintained. 

Our desire was to create luxury handmade candles Some of the most coveted luxury candle brands are made by machine from paraffin wax, a world away from our lovingly handmade candles. Our glass containers are easily washable, making them recyclable or reusable - making perfect drink glasses.
